Aw, thanks, you guys – I just found out that SpringsBargains.com won Best Blog in the Gazette’s annual contest! You guys are the best blog readers out there – thanks for all the fantastic support! If you’re new here, you can subsribe in a feed reader, or sign up to receive free daily email updates of what’s posted here. You can also become a fan on Facebook! I’ve also just opened up registration for the next Grocery Bargains Workshop on June 20th – it’s two full hours of teaching on how to shop strategically to save big on your groceries!
Naturally, there were a few categories for businesses that cater to a bargain hunter: Goodwill won the award for Best Place for Bargains, Eve’s Revolution won the award for Best Consignment Store, and the Old Colorado City Farmer’s Market won the prize for Best Farmer’s Market. King Soopers was chosen as best supermarket, and Andy’s Meat Market is the Best Butcher Shop.
Did what you voted for win? If not, tell us what you voted for that didn’t win!

I voted for you and I got that one right! I also voted for Bird Dog for best BBQ. IMO much better then Front Range. Obviously people must disagree with me on that. I’m glad it won the Gazette pick though!
What category is BLOG in? I can’t find it.
Unless I’m blind, I don’t see it listed under city life. :(
I finally got the website to let me browse the categories. Here is City Life:

It’s in the City Life category. I can’t get anything to pull up online!
I couldn’t find it either. It’s under City Life in the print version, though!
