Free cookie day at Mrs. Field's

I usually view “events” like National Frozen Food Month as just another marketing gimmick, but here’s one I don’t mind buying into: October is supposedly National Cookie Month and to celebrate, Mrs. Field’s is giving away free chocolate chip cookies on Thursday, October 1st from 11 AM to 1 PM.  Yummy!

There’s just one Mrs. Field’s store in Colorado Springs, at 32 North Tejon St.  Thanks to the Gazette for the tip.
