It’s a really slow week at Safeway. I was planning to stop in for the 25¢ bread, but it requires a $10 minimum purchase and after looking at the ad I’m not sure I could find $10 worth of other deals that it would make it worth my trip. Oh well!
Safeway has some printable coupons on their website, and most of them are the same as the ones at Coupons.com; however, sometimes they put up store coupons and I just checked and there’s quite a few up there that appear to be store coupons for medicines, soap, meat, and produce! You should be able to combine a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon, so that could make for some sweet finds.

3 = Decent price, comes around at least fairly often
4 = Great price, buy enough to last awhile
5 = Stock up big time!

I thought I would get the bacon (still have my $3 coupons) and the Tyson chicken nuggets, that should get me to $10 to get the 25cent bread. There are $1 Tyson coupons out there. That would make the nuggest $1 per bag…seems like a good deal to me!!
Hi Carrie~ Just wanted to let you know the links on the right for ‘Weekly Grocery Deals’ are not working. They take you a blank green screen. Thank you again for all you do!
I just signed up for Smithfield and couldn’t find the coupon. Do you know if there was a limited time or prints available?
I signed up on the Smithfield site…but it didn’t say anything about a coupon. How do you get it?
Hi Carrie,
Just recieved an email from Smithfield, apparently the coupon has expired for new prints. Good find for those who printed earlier though!
Carrie,
Just wanted to remind people who have not done the $10 Kellogg rebate – it expires today and the cereals with the coupon deal – would be just great for the rebate!
The two Safeway coupons I printed from their website ($2 off Centrum vitamins and $1 off chicken breast) both say “Not to be used in conjunction with any other coupon.” and “One coupon per customer”. Does that mean I can’t use a manufacturer’s coupon for the Centrum? Does it also mean I can’t print two of the Safeway coupons and use them to purchase two bottles of Centrum in the same transaction?
I went today to use my coupon for the bread (which the cashier had a terrible time with, but it’s a printable they put out there!), and I saw that nectarines were like 75¢/lb or 77 or something. I was like, “What?!” because I didn’t see that advertised and bought a bunch at Sunflower this morning for 99¢/lb. That was at Union and Academy, and the Sunflower Market ones I think are “California”? I don’t know if that makes a diff. Also, in the Safeway ad is “$2 off your order if you buy 3 Hallmark cards,” so I did that toward my $10 purchase. 99¢ cards are NOT included in that, but I needed to get some regular ones anyway.
Couldn’t we use the Pepsi printable that was out a couple of weeks ago to knock down the price to $1.99 a 12pk?
Jennie, not sure – it’s been awhile since I got mine. Seems like there’s a coupon link somewhere!
I know, trying to fix it. :)
Ooh, nice tip – thanks, Shannon! Here’s a link with more info for anyone interested: http://springsbargains.com/kelloggs-fuel-for-school-rebate-is-back/
Oooh, I didn’t realize it was good on the twelve-packs, but it is – thanks, Kelly! Here’s the link if anyone’s interested: http://springsbargains.com/hot-new-printables-available/
