We’ve gotten a couple of coupons for free 50 ct package of Ideal sweetener, but I’m just now getting around to redeeming them and can’t find it at King Soopers. Anyone know where you can find Ideal sweetener in Colorado Springs?
By the way, another coupon we frequently get free coupons for is for a free roll of Marcal Small Steps paper towels or toilet paper. There’s been quite a bit of discussion about where to find the single rolls, and I think the consensus is that you can find them at the commissary, and Albertsons has carried them as well (right?).
Yes, Albertsons carries the Marcal Small steps products. I used the $2 coupon yesterday on a 4 pack of toilet paper ($1.69 so a money maker) and the $1 coupon on napkins (on sale at Albertsons for $2.39).
I didn’t check if they had the single rolls.
I looked at Walmart for the sweetener, and it is not there…..I get the marcal at the commissary

OK, on their site it says Albertson’s and Safeway, Denver and Phoenix…so maybe if you ask someone in either store they can get it for you if it’s not on the shelves. :)
Ooh, thanks, Laura! I looked on their site but couldn’t find a list of locations. I’ll have to check the Safeway here in the Springs to see if per chance they have it. If not, my coupons may be up for grabs for a Denver reader! I guess that’s the disadvantage to getting the Denver Post – sometimes the coupons are for products that aren’t in the Springs yet!
Albertson’s on Dublin and Austin Bluffs has it…but it was over the max value of the coupon =(
I have gotten the sweetner at Albertsons before but the price is a little bit more than the coupon max value price. Sweetner for a few pennies is fine with me. Trust me I have checked everywhere and Albertsons was the only place I have found it (I am in Denver, though).
I checked the commissary last night for the Ideal sweetener and it is NOT there (at least not at Ft. Carson). The Marcal stuff is there; and the free-coupon is also good for their facial tissue, which is priced at $0.75/box right now. I got that free there last night. The Comm only carries the 12-pack of TP, which is priced somewhere between $5-$6 each (can’t remember which), so $2 off of that price is not bad. I have gotten the TP in a smaller 4-pack at Albies with the “free” coupon when it was on sale for $1 per pack.
I also found the sweetner at Albertsons, AND….they actually gave me mine for free even though it exceeded the price!
I’m pretty sure that I saw this at Wal-Mart at Woodmen and Powers today.
Correction. They weren’t at Wal-Mart after all. Am I the only one that thinks the packing looks similiar to Truvia? :)
