I haven’t used ING Electric Orange checking yet, but I’ve done this type of deal at several other banks and those terms (make a certain number of purchases within a timeframe and your bonus is credited afterwards) are pretty typical. The most I’ve ever gotten is $100 , though! Note that the $121 bonus will be counted as interest income.
