  1. Thanks so much for the run-down! I’m hoping that I don’t have to use it, but if I run out of anything tomorrow I’ll be looking at your website again to find the closest open store.

  2. Thanks so very much. I was out of everything including toilet paper because my plan was to be out of town for a week. I was stuck at the DIA all day because It was delayed for 9 hours and then canceled last due to the weather so I was in great need of some groceries! I appreciate this list!

  3. When will the grocery deals start up again? It has been quite depressing not being able to save as much money. It feels weird to walk out of Kings and only use a few coupons. Thanks!

    • Well, if you want diet foods and cleaning supplies, I’m guessing we’ll get some deals this week! ;) November and December are big months for deals, January and February, not so much.

      • Well I guess I wasn’t on the same savings boat as everyone else because I thought November and December were awful. So I will pinch my pennies, say a prayer and hope March brings much savings joy. Thanks!

        • Well, it depends on what you need. *Everything* goes in cycles – Nov-Dec are baking supplies, crackers, cheese, etc. Jan-March are diet foods, cleaning supplies, and frozen food. Stuff like butter and flour comes on sale again for Easter, and then in the summer it’s time to stock up on hotdogs, condiments, chips, etc. In August and September you get the back-to-school stuff like cereal, granola bars, and bottled beverages.

So, different times of year are better for different types of products. I dread January because we get all those stupid coupons for Slim Fast and Atkins bars that I will never use! ;)

  4. THANK YOU!
couldn’t find this on the store’s website, I appreciate it!
