Jenny just emailed in with this tip: the Target at Union and Academy has snowboots marked down to 75% off! She said this:
Not a ton of different sizes and styles, but a lot of certain ones. The girls ones that I was looking at have a regular dark pink style then the Disney princess ones. I mostly saw size 7-8 and 9-10. Lots of them! And they had spiderman ones and dark blue for boys. I didn’t see many of the preschooler sizes as I did the toddler sizes.
She also said they had some pink Converse shoes for 75% off. Sounds like it’s worth a trip if you need shoes! Remember that Target clearance varies by store, and sometimes last for days and sometimes only a few hours.
Last year I got the above snowboots on clearance for $10 – I waited for two winters to get a pair of snowboots for cheap and my patience finally paid off! :)

They didn’t have the right sizes for my kids in the boots, but I did get myself some puddle-stomping boots for $6 (one of my son’s favorite activities) and found some adorable toddler mary-janes for my daughter (got some size 2′s for this summer and size 5′s for next year, yes she has extremely tiny feet) for $3 each.
Just got 4 pairs of the great furry mules yesterday at the union and powers Target. They are so comfortable and come in black/purple checkers with fur or beige and pink checkers with fur…. I wear them to work and got the same ones for my daugther… we had our eyes on them all Winter but not for 17 bucks… now we paid 4.25 a pair… unbeatable….
There were plenty left.. .go check it out !!!
