Target is having a great gift card deal on diapers this week: earn a $5 Target gift card when you buy three Huggies or Pampers jumbo packs! If you have the right coupons, they could be as low as $3.23 per package.
Here’s how to work the Pampers deal:
Buy three jumbo packs at $8.99 each = $26.97
Use three $2/1 manufacturer’s insert coupons
Use three $2/1 Target insert coupon (valid on Cruisers Premium Absorbency and Swaddlers only)
Net cost at checkout: $14.97, plus you’ll earn a $5 Target gift card
Net cost after gift card: $9.97 for three packages, or $3.23 per package!
And here’s the Huggies scenario:
Buy three jumbo packs at $8.99 each = $26.97
Use three $2/1 printables from Coupons.com
Net cost at checkout: $20.97, plus you’ll earn a $5 Target gift card
Net cost after gift card: $15.97 for three, or $5.32 each
The Huggies deal isn’t quite as good as the Pampers one, but it’s still a pretty hot deal overall. I know I’m hoping to stock up! I’ll probably buy Pampers first, and then use the $5 gift card to buy the Huggies. You’ll only be able to earn one gift card per transaction since the Huggies and Pampers are part of the same deal. I think you could also potentially mix and match the brands if you don’t have enough coupons to get three or one brand.
Marcy from Stretching a Buck has a nice list of deals at Target – some good for just this week, some good ongoing. Remember that Target’s every day sale prices tend to vary widely by region, so sometimes those ongoing deals aren’t really available here.
There’s also a coupon for a free 8×10 from the Target portrait studio, no sitting fees or other purchases required. Though, if you have a hard time saying “no thanks” to extra pictures, it quickly becomes not free, huh?. :)

Hi Carrie! I grabbed some diapers last night at Target and you are able to mix and match between the Huggies and Pampers :)
Natalie
Sweet – thanks for the info, Natalie!
What insert did the Target diaper coupons come in?
Nevermind, I found them. Sorry about that!
Question: I’ve been wondering this for awhile – can you use Target coupons (from their website) in conjunction with manufacturer coupons to save even more? (FYI Right now Target has $2/1 Huggies coupons on their website)
Jen, yes, you can, as long as you’re combining a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon. Here’s their official policy: http://springsbargains.com/store-coupon-policies/target-coupon-policy-and-target-price-matching-policy/
Where are the $2 Huggies coupons on the Target website? I couldn’t find them. :(
On the Target website, it removes a coupon if you’ve met your print limit already. I think the Huggies have been there for a little while, so maybe you had printed them already, Carrie. I wish it would just tell you that you’ve hit your print limit like other sites.
Is that any pack of Jumbo diapers? (Pampers or Huggies) the coupons I have are for Pampers extra protection, swaddlers etc. Would that work with the sale price?
Yes, that should work as long as they’re jumbo pack diapers. I *think* you may also be able to scan the package in the store at one of their price check machines and if it qualifies for a gift card deal, it will pop up along with the price.
Do you know if this works only for diapers, or would training pants work too?
*Probably* will only for work diapers.
I saw the gift card offer noted on the shelf for the Pampers Easy Ups at Target tonight. I didn’t buy any, but it should work.
Wouldn’t the $1.50/1 Huggies Target coupon work? Then it would be $3.50 off per package with the two combined coupons.
Which $1.50/1 Target coupon?
It’s on the Target website, but it is no longer there after you print it. I found it when I was printing the Pure & Natural Huggies Target coupon.
Actually, the Target coupon says Manufacturer’s coupon so I guess that wouldn’t work. Darn!
I got a book of baby coupons from Target yesterday in the mail, and sure enough there is a “Target coupon” for Pampers and one for Huggies. The insert Target one for Pampers is better. But glad to have a Huggies one! Does anyone know the price per diaper we’re looking at with the different coupon scenarios? I’m going to take my calculator and coupons and try to figure this out this morning. Target having store coupons and manufac. coupons on their site now is stinkin’ confusing! The other baby match-up from that book was for the Gerber onesie/sleep-n-plays ($1 off Target + $1 off man. coupon)
Oh, I also got another book of Target coupons several days ago in the mail, and from those I saw match-ups with man. coupons for (this week) post-its ($1 + $1) and Baked Lays ($1 + 50¢). I don’t know how or why I got those books, but I was stoked. There are other match-ups that I’ll wait for a sale to use.
I still can’t find where the specific Target coupons are for Pampers. I have the manufacture ones, but not the Target ones. Thanks.
Wow I am stoked about this diaper deal my stockpile is low from the last KS mega diaper event thing that was AGES ago! Glad I bought so many though :) Just a tip on Target portrait studio…they put out this coupon ALL the time for a free 8X10 if you get their mailer/also in inserts. The one here in Littleton does a wonderful job and additional sheets are only 3.99 with coupons that they also put out constantly. I think it is a great deal for portraits especially with little ones who change so much.
