Sign up your kids for Toys R Us’ birthday club for kids and your child will receive a birthday card from Geoffery, plus you’ll get a few coupons in the mail in the weeks leading up to their birthday for $5 off a purchase of $25 or more. (We did, anyway!) The coupons I received stated “excludes diapers, formula, video game hardware, gift cards, Kiddie Kandids, Motherhood Maternity, buyer protetion plan, assembly fee, breast pump rental fee, delivery fee, and shopping and handling.”
But if you’re planning on buying actual toy at Toys R Us, that $5 off might come in handy!
Does anyone else get a phone call from Jeffrey on the morning of the birthday? I’ve tried to opt out of the early morning call without success. For years, we’ve received an 8 a.m. wakeup call from Jeffrey every birthday morning. LOL! It’s such an awful call we can’t help but laugh about it.

Oh, if you haven’t yet you have to take your kids in around their birthday. Stop at the Customer Service Desk and let them know it’s your child’s birthday, they give them a balloon and announce to the whole store that it is so-and-so’s birthday ask everyone to wish him a happy birthday when you see him. Totally embarrassing for mom, but the kids love it.
I haven’t gotten the call, (probably didn’t give them my phone #), sometimes we get the $3 off $3 or more and sometimes we get bothm sometimes we only get the $5 off $25??? Not sure why?
