Think the 4 boxes of cereal and 2 gallons of milk for just $1 each deal at King Soopers is hot? Traci commented on this week’s King Soopers post with an even hotter deal! There’s a catalina that goes along with the Corn Pops, Apple Jacks, and Frosted Flakes:
Buy Kellogg’s cereal 10 oz or larger through March 10th (including Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, Cocoa Krispies, Honey Smacks , Corn Pops, and Frosted Flakes):
Buy 3 and get a coupon for $1 on your next order
Buy 4 and get a coupon for $3 on your next order
Buy 5 and get a coupon for $4 on your next order
Here’s how the deal would work out:
Buy four cereals that are participating in both promotions (which would include Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, and Frosted Flakes) and 2 gallons of Colorado Proud milk. Pay $6 total at checkout and receive a catalina for $3 on your next order, making your net cost:
$3 for four boxes of cereal and two gallons of milk!
If you have coupons, the deal is even sweeter! Unfortunately, it looks like the Kellogg’s printables that were available from Coupons.com and RedPlum.com are gone now, so hopefully you printed them already!
Also, Joanne commented that she found a blinkie box with coupons for $1/2 Kellogg’s cereal at King Soopers, so keep your eyes peeled for those!
Note that Kellogg’s Raisin Bran is included in the sale, but is not included in the catalina deal. My store was already out of Raisin Bran tonight – I was bummed because that’s the only one I really wanted! Hopefully they’ll restock soon.
I got 4 boxes of Frosted Flakes, but no catalina. I wonder why- oh, well- it’s still a great deal.

Yeah I was at King Soopers yesterday taking advantage of the deal. Didn’t know about the catalina until after checking out. I only bought three boxes of cereal and one box of crackers so I received the $1 catalina instead of $3 oh well. Also the deal was not working properly yesterday so make sure your milks are showing up as free on your receipt. I think there is a kellogg’s $1/3 coupon in a 2/7 insert not sure if it is SS or RP. Also I printed 1.50/2 raisin bran coupons yesterday from red plum so they should still be available. Too bad they were out of raisin bran yesterday, but with a toddler and a pregnant wife at home, I might be using this deal again next tuesday.
No catalina for me either…if anyone gets one will you share exactly which 4 boxes of cereal you bought?
We are completely out of milk but don’t eat any of those cereals. Maybe we will this week! Great deal.
Also some of the boxes at my store have a banner at the top that says “Save $5 on Breakfast, Coupons Inside” I have gotten 2 different sets, one of them includes a coupons for $1/2 Raisin Bran, the other set has $1 off milk when you purchase 2 Kellog’s cereals and 2 more $1/2 coupons that can be used with the cereal varieties in this deal! I still can’t believe it’s true!
Hmm, I just updated the post – doesn’t sound like any of you are actually getting the catalina.
You can try calling the Catalina company at 1.888.8COUPON or emailing them at coupon@catalinamarketing.com and giving them your receipt information and what catalina you were expecting. If it was indeed running here they should be able to help you.
Catalina is that coupon you get with your receipt correct? If that is correct, then my husband and I got the $3 one last night when we made a special trip to King Soopers to take advantage of the cereal and milk deal.
We got corn pops, frosted flakes, apple jacks and fruit loops. It was the King Soopers on Hancock and… I want to say academy? I have a really bad mind for street names even when I don’t have a horrific cold and am doped up on nyquil.

I bought that exact combination and I didn’t get one. Corn pops, Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks and Fruit Loops. I will have to contact the catalina company.
I got the Catalina! AND the blinkies for $1/2. So for all 6 items it was $1!!! WOW!! I just bought 4 Apple Jacks. This was at the Hartsel Rd. location. I also used one of the “free 1/2 gallon of choco milk with the purchase of one gallon white milk” coupons! That was worth $2.49. Great day!
I got the $3 catalina just now at King at Union and Briargate Pkwy. I bought only the cereals actually listed on the information sheet, though. I bought 2 Frosted Flakes, 1 Corn Pops, and 1 Apple Jacks. So with the 2 gallons of milk I paid $6 and got a $3 Catalina. I also had a coupons and got another $2 off, I paid $4 for all 6 items and got a $3 coupon good on next order.
I went to the King S on Academy and Austin Bluffs and bought 2 Frosted Flakes, 2 Froot Loops and got the catalina for $3. I did have issues with them not wanting to double my yogurt coupons though, but after talking to the manager they finally did it for me…LAME!
Sara, were the yogurt coupons for Mountain High? If so, for whatever reason that company starting making their bar codes on the coupons start with a 9 and the register won’t double them. Not sure why they did that, especially without warning the consumer, but if those were the coupons you had trouble with that might be why. I keep meaning to email the company and ask why they started doing that!
Yes it was…thats really weird, I wonder why they are doing that. She said they had trouble with them all day, but I had a friend that used the same coupons I had last week and she never mentioned there was a problem and said she got them all free…who knows!! Let us know what you find out.
I went to the kings by Memorial Hospital north (can’t remember the street) No Blinkies! ; ( I also forgot the list for the catalina deal! Not good there, but I used my $1.50 off 2 qs from redplum online a few weeks ago and got 2 rice krispies with the coupon books, 1 frosted flakes, one apple jacks, and 2 gallons of milk for $2.85 w/tax. No catalina, but still a sweet deal! By the way the shelves were totally empty, they had some on an end-cap near the back though.
Just did the deal and got the catalina with no problem. Bought 2 Frosted Flakes, Corn Pops and Apple Jacks. No blinkies though. Store was Powers and Stetson Hills.

I bought 2 Apple Jacks and 2 Froot Loops this morning and got the catalina at the Fillmore and Centennial store.
I know most of you are in the Springs, but if there are any readers in Castle Rock I thought I would let you know that it is working here too! I just tried the deal @ the Kings on Founders pkwy and it worked. I bought 2 Frosted Flakes, 1 froot loops and 1 apple jacks. They also have the $1/2 blinkies. $1 OOP for 4 boxes of cereal and 2 gallons of milk! YAY! Thanks for keeping us updated on the great deals Carrie!
The catalina worked for me at Woodmen & Harstel and they have blinkies. I only bought Pops, Fruit Loops and an Apple Jack and the milk.

Heads up, this morning my $3 Catalina did NOT print at the 115/Cheyenne Meadows King Soopers. I felt silly but I went ahead and returned my purchase. I decided to head over to Hancock/S. Academy and it worked!

My store in Loveland had a $0.70/1 coupon blinkie -good for Corn Pops, Fruit Loops, or Apple Jacks – I used 4 of them paid $3.38 OOP and got back a $3 catalina -the next transaciton I rolled the catalina and only had to pay $0.38 OOP and got another $3 catalina -
At the Austin Bluffs/Academy King Soopers today, I bought 3 boxes of Frosted Flakes and 1 box of Apple Jacks today with my 2 gallons of milk and DID receive the $3 catalina.
Not only did I get the $3 catalina I got the frosted flakes boxes that have coupons in them for $1 off milk and 2 $1/2 so my next transaction will be $3 and the $3 catalina = FREE!!! Oh my goodness this is an amazing deal!!!
I just got back from the KS on Stetson Hills/Powers and my milk rang up FREE…. The register deducted the FULL amount ($2.19) rather than ($1.19). I’m not sure if this is a glitch in their system but it was awesome.
I spent $2.42 total on 4 boxes of cereal (Froot Loops, Pops, Apple Jacks and Frosted Flakes) and the milk came up free. There were blinkie coupons for $.70/1 (I used 4 – they did not double) and I had a $1.50/3 manny, plus I got the $3 Catalina (that’s how I came to $2.42). The deal could be even better though. Two of my boxes of cereal rang up at $1.50 – not sure which ones though b/c I didn’t pay attn in the store and the receipt only says KELL cereal.
So, if you got 4 boxes @ $1.50 each = $6 and 2 gallons of milk (FREE….), you could use 4 of the $.70/1 and the $1.50/3 from a Sunday paper (not sure which date in came in) = $1.70 OOP, then you would get the $3 Catalina making it a money maker of $1.30 OR if your milk did ring up at $1 each, you would end up only paying $.70 TOTAL.
I did not get the catalina but I called the # you posted and they were very helpful and will be sending me out a $3 coupon in the mail. I just had to give them some details (like date, time, store) off of the receipt,
