That’s a pretty good price for the peruano beans. If I didn’t have a lot of them, I’d stock up at that price. :)
What are they like? What do you use them in?
Carrie….I am wondering what you thought of the quality of the boneless chicken that you bought at the Asian Market? I didnt see boneless on sale so far this week, so I thought I would venture down that way. Also, i saw at Albie’s London Broil on sale, so we are going to make the Chipotle recipe you posted…have you made that yet? I am wondering about that 1 pepper in adobo (sp?) sauce…lol.
I thought the chicken I got from the Asian Market was great – no different than buying it at Albies or Safeway, except maybe the breasts were a little bigger?
Yep, the Chipotle recipe is “my” recipe I adapted from a friend’s – we love it! Just pick up a can of chipotle peppers in adobo at any store and use *one* of the peppers inside the can… it’s easy, and the leftover chipotle peppers keep fine in the frig for a long time.
Wow, thanks for the feedback, we really need chicken. I also think the chicken breasts at Albies are huge…so these should be same or better.
I believe the iceberg lettuce is 3 lbs. for $97 instead of 3/$0.97 (or $0.32 each). Any idea if I can Price Match this at Walmart? Or if it is even a good deal?
probably a great deal, I don’t think iceberg lettuce weighs much – but it’s highly unlikely you’ll be able to price match at Walmart since it sells it by the head and not by weight.
