Pottery Barn ain’t got nuthin’ on Goodwill

Look at the little suitcase I snagged at Goodwill the other day.  I think it’s supposed to be a travel cosmetics case – there’s a mirror inside, but it looks right at home as living room decor, don’t you think?

And yes, it was $1.99.

So I would have rather had brown, like the Pottery Barn one above.  But for $2 instead of $49 (for the small one), I’m pretty happy to have a black one.

I like looking through catalogs and home decor magazines, but only to get ideas about what’s in and what to keep an eye out for at Goodwill!

I love it, and I just love the little clock on top, I bet you got it at Goodwill?! :)

LOL, nope, my friend got it at Gordman’s, I think. But, funny story about a clock from Goodwill: a few weeks ago there was a vintage-look digital alarm clock and radio. I bought it for my 4yo, who’s learning his numbers and I thought *maybe* we could use it to teach him to stay in his room past 7 AM, lol!

Anyway, I got the clock home and a few days later realized why it had been donated – sometimes the on/off button doesn’t work, so you have to unplug it to turn it off! Oh well…
