Have you found yourself being able to take advantage of the weekend sales at Safeway? I’m finding that I do less and less since I prefer to do grocery shopping during the week, and adding just one more stop for an already-tired pregnant momma is just too much! I’m tempted to pick up some breakfast sausage, though…

i have an 50/2 insert coupon for Prego Heart Smart, if that’s also on sale.
Amy….the HeartSmart are included in the sale! I got 4 jars for $.75 each! YEAH!!! Now I’m wishing I had more of the coupons. ;-)
Carrie…..the large box of Lipton (100 tea bags?) is only $1.99 when you purchase 3 or more. There are also coupons out for the Lipton tea products, which make it a great price (for me).
Can anyone say if Gorton’s are good? I havn’t bought fish sticks for years. Suggestions?? Thx!
We like Gortons…my kids favorite. I buy a bag of “stick” for them and “fillets” for the adults.
We also love Gortons. They have become our personal favorite. My picky 3 year old will eat the fillets!! Since they have been quite affordable lately, they have become one of our more frequent meals.
Does anyone know where to find the coupon insert? I can’t find it.
Safeway has blinkies on the dairy door for $2 off Honey Bunches of Oats if you buy a gallon of milk. The cereal is on sale for $2. so ends up being free.
All of the coffee is $4.99 after the deal, nesquick was 1.99, tazo teas were also 1.99. I was able to do more than 1 in the transaction.
The Caribou is $4.99 AND around some bags there were $1 off coupons, so I got 3 Caribou for $3.99 ea! Also, I got FREE Snickers. They are buy 2 get two free, there are coupons out for 50cents off two! The boys will be thrilled!
Also, I did see a sign advertising the buy two Gorton’s and two Ore-Ida catalina running until March 2.
THANK YOU! I was at Safeway today, saw a sign in the meat section but thought I’d see one in the frozen food section so I didn’t check… then, there wasn’t one in the frozen food section and my baby was screaming too loudly to go back and check, lol.
Just another hot item, Arm and Hammer toothpaste is on sale for $1.49, there is a printable on their website for $1.00 off, you can print 2! .49 cents a tube! You can’t beat that if you love Arm and Hammer toothpaste!

I was at the Safeway on Village Center drive this morning and they had some Yoplait YoPlus yogurt on clearance for 50% off the price of $2.50. If you use a $1/1 coupon, you can get it for $0.25. All of the one’s I looked at had a sell by date of 3/3.
They also had Silk soymilk half gallons on clearance for 50% off. The regular price is $3.29. If you use the $0.55/1 coupon that makes it $0.64. My son LOVES soy milk so I was happy to get it for so cheap for him. I can’t remember the exact sell by date, but it didn’t have as much time as the yogurt did. Also, make sure that the 50% comes off on it, I had to go to customer service after the fact to get my 50% back.
Quaker Instant Oatmeal is on sale for $1.99 when you buy 3 or more. There are insert coupons for $1.00 off making them 99 cents each!
I got a catalina ad for buy any post cereal 10 oz or larger 2/26 & 3/21
buy 4 get $3
buy 5 or more get $4
It says any, but has honey bunches of oats, shredded wheat, great grains, honey comb, raisen bran, trail mix crunch, grape nuts, and fruity pebbles pictured. I am thinking that if you pair that with the milk deal, it would be great!! We go through alot of cereal here. Not sure if this is as good as kings this week, but may come in handy in the next few weeks.
Is the Gorton’s + Ore Ida promo a Safeway only thing, or does it work at King Soopers also?
Thanks!
I can’t find the Knorr coupons either. Help please?
I think they may have expired on 2/28.
There are printables at http://coupons.com
I couldn’t find these, any one else have luck?
The link is to the unilever coupon site (Carrie, use this whole link): http://print.coupons.com/Couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=14696&nid=20&zid=nh28
