You can buy a $10 Starbucks gift card with 130 Swagbucks – not necessarily the best redemption value for your points, but it’s a nice way to treat yourself to a special drink!
Unfortunately, you can only do the reward card with a gift card…which is their sneaky way to get you to prepay for your coffee…then you think, “Oh, I have a gift card! I should stop at starbucks!” I love rewards program, but I’m not doing this one. :)
I have done their rewards program for a while now. They switched me over to the new program when it started in January. For us it works out pretty well, my husband is picky about the type of coffee he drinks and I get a free coffee everytime I go in and buy a pound of coffee beans.
I thought this was worth the gift card purchase. I buy their coffee from time to time and my birthday is coming up…nice to get a $5 skinny cinnamon dolce latte on them this month. ;)
