Remember last weekend’s Whole Foods anniversary celebration? Local Organic Valley farmers Scott and Robin Mikita were there and surprised one shopper by paying for their cart full of groceries.
I was tickled pink when Springs Bargains reader Rebecca emailed me on Monday:
We and my twin sister were at the anniversary sale at Whole Foods on Saturday and we were SO blessed to be chosen by Organic Valley Farms as the shopper that they bought groceries for… We were so excited and they had us put our groceries together so we both could win and asked us twice to put more groceries in!!
We both want to thank you for having your blog, because if not for you, we wouldn’t have even known about this Whole Foods Anniversary sale.
Many thanks!
Isn’t that awesome?! Just had to share with you guys because I was so excited for Robin. It’s awesome to see God blessings to others, huh?
Hope the rest of you that didn’t win were still able to get some yummy free samples and some good deals. And, thanks, Organic Valley, for the awesome giveaway!

Congrats! That’s awesome! Just curious if people have a fav Organic Valley product? I tried their cream and wasn’t thrilled with the texture so I’ve been hesitant to buy more.
I’ve bought OV eggs and thought they were great. Maybe even a little bigger than “regular” large eggs. The yolks were a nice deep yellow – not sure that really means anything, but they do look pretty!
I don’t buy a lot of organics, though, so maybe someone else can help more.
Congratulations! That’s so cool!
@ Debbie….I have tried their milk and cheese products before and they are good! As with most organic foods….some may taste “different” than conventional/non-organic items, but for the most part I think they actually taste better. You get the full flavor the way it’s meant to be and not full of preservatives and other “non-healthy” ingredients.
I have not personally tried their ice cream yet. The only ice cream we purchase (not organic) is Breyers. It has no added anything in it. :-)
I actually bought their heavy cream and the texture was just off. It smelled fine but didn’t really look fine, weird texture. We are organic buyers too – milk, eggs, produce, most dairy. I just haven’t bought much more Organic Valley after my initial experience! I love hearing the good though! I’ll have to try their eggs next time – I love beautiful eggs and organic eggs always taste yummy!
