Jenny emailed to let me know that the Safeway cheese deal from a week or two ago is still going on through tomorrow (Tuesday)! Here’s the scoop:
Cheese Sale: Buy 2 or more and save. Mix and match!
$1.49 when you buy 2+: Sargento Shredded Cheese, Sargento Natural Slices, Kraft Singles, and Kraft Cream Cheese.
$1.99 when you buy 2+: Precious String Cheese.
Couple of notes: if Kraft Deli Deluxe Slices are “Singles”, there’s a $1/1 coupon here that would make them 49¢! Check the sale tags to see if the Deli Deluxe are included.
Also, when this sale first started running, a number of you reported finding $1/1 coupons inside the Precious String Cheese, making it 99¢ with that coupon! $1.99 is a great deal, and if you buy a few packages, open them up and find coupons, and then go back and get more for 99¢, it’s smokin! So what is everyone buying on the frozen foods deal? We just don’t eat a lot of prepared packaged foods, but I wonder if there’s anything I should snag while the sale is going on.
I ended buying freshcetta (sp?) pizza. There really weren’t any super good deals on any of the frozen things this week that I saw, but frozen pizza is a nice thing for my family to have in a pinch, so I stocked up! :)
