I am SOOO excited about this! I went yesterday and saved a TON! I noticed that there is a Hamburger Helper Deal–they are on sale for $.99 when you buy 4-and there is a catalina deal for $2 off WYB 4. It may be off hamburger, I can’t remember and I didn’t have my HH coupons on me.
Seems like there was another catalina deal, but I can’t remember the details. Something about chili stuff, it was advertised by the canned tomatoes.
Carrie,
I am curious if I should calculate my $ and % saved based on Safeway’s “regular low prices” or the week’s sale price (i.e. the amount I saved on toothpaste using coupons vs. its regular price or based on the sale price of $1 WYB3)? I hope that makes sense. This is so fun! I’ve have an awesome week so far but will head back a time or two before I make my final submission. Thank you for hosting this contest!
Traci, just go by what is on your receipt(s). At the bottom it gives you a $ and percentage amount saved, and either/both of those is fine.
Why is the March 10th not included? It was the first day of the sale and I went that day.
Thanks for considering.
oops, it should have been! I’ll edit.
Crazy question, do you want tax included or not? I don’t consider it when I do my savings etc.. Sorry, I did accounting pre-babies. Thanks! (and I haven’t checked yet, but I don’t think it is calculated in the percent saved at the bottom of the receipt..)
Give me the total savings as indicated by your receipt(s), however it computes it.
