Happy “free reusable bag” season!

There are quite a few “Earth Day” freebies starting to pop up – whether you celebrate it or not, it’s a good chance to grab some free stuff!

You can get a free reusable bag from King Soopers when you design a bag in their reusable bag contest – thanks to those of you who contacted me about this!  I believe it’s credited to your Sooper Card like an e-coupon and then when you purchase a bag, the price comes off at checkout.

Take a quiz from Earthbound Farms and if you score 100%, you’ll get a free reusable bag. This freebie isn’t available 24/7, just at select times – looks like the next opportunity is Wednesday the 14th at 3 PM Mountain Time.

Free tote from Toys R Us with their “Fill A Bag” sale – not sure if you have to fill the entire bag in order to get it for free or not.

Target is giving away 1.5 million reusable bags on Sunday, April 18th. Thanks, Common Sense With Money!

Know of any other Earth Day freebies?  I know in years past Home Depot has given away free CFL lightbulbs, but I can’t seem to find anything on it for 2010.

With regards to the Toys-R-Us sale: I received a sale flyer from Babies-R-Us that says they are giving 25% off of any clothing you can fit in the bag! Free bag, grap some clearance clothes (either for your little ones or baby shower gifts) and another 25% off- not bad in my book! :-)
