This weekly ad review is part of BeCentsAble’s Grocery Gathering.

When I was there yesterday afternoon, the Celestial Seasonings tea was on sale 2/ $5. There are insert coupons (exp 5/21?) for $1/1. Not the sweetest deal we’ve ever seen, but best I’ve seen in a while!
I think I saw that Sunday’s coupon inserts will include Herbal Essence hair products…
Last week, Olay in-shower body lotion was included in the four participating p&g products making it $3.49 after coupon; a great price for something we can’t do without. This product is a must-have in our family as my husband suffers from extremely itchy skin. This has worked for him far better than Eucerin and even Cortizone. Thought I’d mention in case there are others in this dry climate with a problem. Oh, and one more thing, I’ve used this throughout three pregnancies now and have never had stretch marks on my belly!
Hotcouponworld.com has a King Soopers forum post for a catalina for General Mills Cereal Cheerios, Trix, maybe more
between 4/19/10-5/16/10
Buy 4 get $4 off ONYO ( 1.00 off each when rolled)
I have seen a thumbnail image of this announcement and there are three other Cheerios flavors included (sadly, Honey Nut Cheerios was not pictured).
be on the lookout for peelies on 20 packs of dr pepper. They’re for $1 off and can be used on 2/2 liter bottles. Dr Pepper is included in the pepsi buy 4 get two free. Buy 6 to get at 84 cents and use 3 $1 peelies making these 34 cents per 2 liter bottle!! I bought 12 bottles for a little over $4 plus tax…
What do you think about the $5.99/lb for organic chicken breasts? It definitely seems high for a sale, but unless someone else is having a sale then it could be a good price? I seem to remember Whole Foods’ being in the $6-ish range too, but goes on sale for more like $3.99/lb?
Hmm, I don’t know – organic chicken goes on sale so rarely that it’s hard to say! I would look at how much it’s discounted by – if we’re talking just $1/lb discount off regular price, then my philosophy would be to buy it if you need it for this week but don’t stock up.
Two thoughts about the P&G Deal:
First, a few other Cover Girl prices should be mentioned. Nail polish is 1.95, lip gloss is 3.95 and mascara ranges from 5.39 to about 6.99 – after the B4S4 discount. Combined with the coupons Carrie mentioned with the eye shadow, these are great deals! This is the mascara I currently use (the cheaper end) and it’s great.
Second, this is a great time to introduce a teenage girl to saving money! The last time we had a P&G B4S4 and also had Cover Girl coupons, I took my 16-yr-old cousin shopping with me. She was amazed that she could get eye shadow for FREE and other cosmetics & hair products at a great discount. If you know of a young woman who is responsible for purchasing her own makeup, this would be the perfect time to share any extra coupons you have, and teach her something about frugality at the same time.
Ok, I just thought of one more thing!
How many of you have every left a coupon that you weren’t going to use next to the product in the store, hoping that someone would find it and be able to use it? I used to do this more often, until I asked an employee what they do if they find one. She told me that if it’s at night and they are restocking the shelves, they will throw it away. Seems like I’m always shopping at night, so I stopped leaving them.
Well, two days ago I was looking at the Cover Girl products, trying to decide which lip gloss I wanted, and as I reached out to the shelf, I felt a piece of paper – it was a $2.50/2 CG coupon! I felt like Charlie when he found the golden ticket. :) I already had three of them, but now that I had four, I could use four at two different times to get eight CG products, instead of using the other $1/1 coupons I had. I tried to explain to my husband how exciting this was…and I’m sure you can relate to the glazed-over look I received. Oh well, I was still happy!
Thanks to a coupon friend at the King Soopers on 115!
P.S. Mentos gum is $1, and there are coupons out to make those free.
I do this at the Commissary all the time, and I find ones that I want to use all the time too! Its like an impromptu coupon exchange!
I tried to get the Old Spice e-coupon this morning, and I got an error. I just tried again, and it’s gone.
Has any one found more coupons for Stove Top Stuffing? I found some for $1 off 2 on online @ Smart Source briefly the other day. I was able to use them at King Soopers where they are 2 for $3. There is also a Catalina running until the end of the month for buy 2 get 1 dollar / buy 3 get 2 dollars / buy 4 get 3 dollars. With buying four I was able to get them for 25 cents a box. I’m not sure if that is good but I thought so.
Rebecca, Stove Top Stuffing $1.00 off 2 is on All You…

P.S. Thanks for the tip! We love the stuffing and chicken bake!
The catalina for the stove top didn’t work, so I guess I need to call the company. also watch your receipt, mine rang up wrong and they had to adjust it afterwards.
Correction – I found them on Coupons.com
