went to Pei Wei with 3 of my kids tonight… got there at 5:00. The place was packed and the line was very long. They were reserving tables by coming through the line with numbers and putting them on the tables before you ordered. By 6:10, my kids all had their meal, but mine hadn’t come yet. I went up and asked several times because my son had to get to soccer practice by 6:30. Finally I asked for it “to go”. I got it at 6:20 and we rushed out of there. My only consolation was that the manager gave me a $10 gift card for my inconvenience and the slow service. It’s too bad that they didn’t turn the promo into an anniversary “week” instead of a “day” so that you could use the coupon on any day this week… maybe next time!
We got to Pei Wei about 4:45 right before the rush and had a great meal. My son who is a college student went for lunch and enjoyed it, too.
