Good deals at the Thursday farmer’s market on Powers

Malia emailed with a nice tip on the Thursday farmer’s market held in the parking lot of the First and Main Town Center (Power and N. Carefree):

They have a deal where you can fill one produce-sized bag for $7 or one grocery-sized (plastic) bag for $10. The price includes potatoes, peppers, greens, onions, beets, squash, and herbs.

Last week I got 4 onions, 3 Anaheim peppers, 1 red bell pepper, 5 baby carrots, 2 large zucchini, 2 yellow squash, and a bunch of basil for $7. I thought others might want to know about this if they like the same sorts of things.

The First and Main Town Center market runs on Thursdays from 10 AM to 3 PM.  Thanks, Malia!

We discussed who has the best local farmer’s market a few weeks ago, if you’d like to give your input on that post.
