I totally lucked out with the tortillas – there were a few coupons for the tortillas right on top of the pile on the shelf, some for .50 and some for $1 off. I grabbed two packages and two $1 off coupons. At the register, the cashier checked with someone else to see if they would accept them (in Spanish…had to ask what was going on). She said yes! She didn’t even adjust the coupon down to .99 to match the cost of the tortillas, so I also got 1/3 of a lime for free. :)
Speaking of limes, has anyone ever made limeade? I’m going to try just adding the juice to some simple syrup, but thought I’d ask for anyone’s recipe.
