Reader Request: best place for printing?

Carol wants to know the best place in Colorado Springs to get full-color flyers printed.  Nothing too fancy, just an 8.5×11 full-color paper!

Any tips for her?  We’ve done a little bit of printing and binding at Office Max but I’ll admit to not having shopped around much!

  1. I’ve used Copy It and liked them. I think Costco may do it as well and have good prices. A lot of the office supply stores often run deals so it may be worth checking them out.

If you are planning to print a large amount, you may want to contact Xpress Printing. We use them a lot and always have great results. http://www.xpressprintingonline.com.

Online companies are often the cheapest option. We use ColorFx – http://www.colorfxweb.com. They have very low prices.

There is a print shop downtown that does a great job and they have great prices, it is Centennial on 717 N Weber downtown, it is a purple building, you can’t miss it. Also their number is 719-635-4453.

  4. RitzPics or Wolf does good prints.

  5. I use and recommend Copy One on Colorado Avenue. 533-0982 Contact name is Reva.

  6. Paradigm Impressions — For larger quantities of b&w and color copies,, design, offset, bindery — even promotional stuff like pens, shirts, banners, etc. Mark at 718-235-1647

Rich Fowler at MyFavoritePrinter on Fillmore hill does an AWESOME job on digital printing, and can usually turn it same day and cheaper than Kinko’s or Copy It type places. He can also handle your personalized/mailed newsletter, large-scale printing needs (we do posters and brochures with him) and anything else you can throw at him. rich@myfavoriteprinter.com or toll free at 877-447-0800.

  10. 50% off on Sony photo prints and Cannon Copies in b/w, sepia, or color every Tuesday in Nov and Dec at Archivers Scrapbook store on N. Academy, by Jason’s deli and Veda salon.

  11. I just got my 100 “free” postcards from Staples and they look great! I say “free” because the shipping was $9.95, but for $.10 a card, I got a full color glossy front with 3 pictures of my choice on the front. I was also able to get my entire letter (no you don’t have to use a magnifying glass to read it) on the back in black and white with a coordinating background design. These fit into A4 envelopes (the kind that fit a letter sized paper folded twice). This offer is good online until November 12th – I’m glad we did it.
