Free hardcover photobook from Picaboo

The free hardcover photobook offer from Picaboo is back!  Go here and enter your email address, then you’ll be able to proceed to create your free book using coupon code FREEBK. Good for new Picaboo accounts only.

The free book is a Large Classic, Classic Leather, or Classic Custom photobook with up to 20 pages, and shipping is $8.99.

I haven’t ordered from Picaboo before – have any of you?  Quality varies among the “free photobook” offers, but this one is actually hardcover which seems like it might be worth paying the $8.99 shipping for!

Their quality is AMAZING. I have ordered several books from Picaboo (using coupon codes) in the past – and they are just beautiful. I wish I could use this code – I’ve never seen a photo book that equals these in quality. Whenever they have coupons or sales we give their photo books as gifts – they are very impressive. Awesome grandparent gift!

You’ve motivated me! Now to see if I can get enough good pictures together to go in a nice book. :)

Valerie, would you say professional quality? Like the kind you would order from a professional photographer? We’re due any time and I’m thinking about just doing my own book with my birth photography photos but a lot of them the ink and image quality is awful. I’ve never done these though…

Absolutely. If they had been around when we got married, I would have made our wedding photos into photo books from Picaboo. They are just as nice as the ones I’ve seen from wedding photographers. We have the leather bound ones, so I’ve never seen a linen or paper one from Picaboo, but I would assume they are also very nice. The image quality is beautiful as well.
I love them because they give you almost full control – you can set the background, the page template, rotate the photos however you want, choose which photo goes where, the order of the pages, borders, text, everything. The other photo books we’ve tried were so much more limited. The Picaboo books do take longer to put together because you have so many more options, but you end up with a book that looks exactly the way you want it to look. I would absolutely take advantage of this deal. They are worth every penny of 8.99!!! (they are almost worth paying full price, and I NEVER pay full price for anything!!)

I have ordered several picaboo books as well, and LOVE the quality. The leather ones actually smell like real leather, and are great quality! I love that their software is downloaded and used on the computer instead of designing on the website. The design software is easy to use, there are tons of ways you can customize the design, etc. As a graphic designer I’m very picky about the photo books I design, and I love picaboo!!

Oh, one more thing…I’ve also ordered the custom cover books, and have loved those, too. You can even choose images for the spine and back cover (or patterns/designs) instead of just one for the front cover. I did a custom cover book for our trip to Disney World and it was amazing. I gave them to my mom and MIL for mother’s day!

So I download their program onto my computer? Does that mean I can work on it in it’s entirety without being online? That alone would be a sell for me!

    • carrie says:

yes, Brandy. You can work on the whole thing on your computer and not be online! I loved that, too. I also love how the books are saved in your “library”, and you can see the covers of the ones you’ve ordered in the past.

I have ordered from them before and LOVED the quality. I have also ordered from several others, Walgreens, Snapfish, and a few others and Picaboo is my favorite.
