I kept getting the shipping charges, too, but called the 800 number and they placed the order over the phone and waived the shipping charges for me.

There’s so much local content to post that I try to focus on that here on the main blog, but that section is getting pretty popular, too! Feedback on it is welcome, there’s actually a link to a survey at the bottom of the Online Deals section.
We’ve been so busy this summer with our house on the market and numerous other dramas that I haven’t been on the site as often and I guess I haven’t checked that section out! Shame on me! Thanks for pointing me there!

I finally called, known problems with their site today, phone rep very helpful, she too had to override the shipping! Just call!
It worked for me! I got my daughter Disney Princess tennis shoes. Normally $30, on sale for $19.99. Got them for $10.74 after the $10 off and the free shipping! I try very hard not to spend more than $10 on shoes for her at this age since she grows out of them so fast (she is 3). Typically I have to eithre buy used or stick to Walmart. She is going to love Disney shoes!

I received an email for this promotion today through the jcp rewards program. Maybe you need to be a rewards member to have it work? I have not tried to order yet, but the rewards program is free for those that have not signed up yet.
I placed four orders (some included clothing with the shoes).. on two i used my name and on two i used my husbands name because I was using his credit card. I only got two emails saying Iorders had shipped so I checked the status of the other two and they say “status: canceled” So, apparently you aren’t allowed to use the code more than once per person per day? Bummer anyway. I tried to repurchase a pair of shoes that were canceled yesterday because I have two kids and I didn’t want one being left out. But now, all the clearance childrens shoes are “unavailable” on the website.
It looks like the shoes are all unavailable…at least the clearance shoes. But I checked out the kids school uniforms, and even with the shipping added in it would be less to purchase some of the uniform items now with the sale and code, than it would be to go buy them in store. The shipping is a little less if you have it delivered to the store and go in to pick up the item. Since many of us are watching for deals on these types of items, I thought I’d check it out!
