Can anyone recommend a place to buy a garage door? Or garage door panels? We can install it ourselves, I just need to find the cheapest place that sells doors or door panels. Any ideas?

Lowes! We got our garage door there a couple of years ago for a lot less that what the garage door installers wanted to charge us.
Have you looked at Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity ReStore? If they don’t have garage door panels, I’m sure they have the hardware. Here’s the website for hours:

We recently had to buy one ourselves. I called around and priced many places (including Lowes and Home Depot). A1 Garage Door Specialists was several hundred dollars cheaper, and they have great customer service. They also do free service calls, and you can find coupons in your coupon mailers that come in the mailbox.
I buy and sell houses and we have bought several used – new style garage doors off of craigslist. You need to be patient to find the right size – but its a great way to get a “new” garage door without the high price tag. We have also bought several garage door openers this way also.
I have no idea how prices compare, but we’ve recently used Mountain Fox garage doors. Curtis Fox is the owner and he is super helpful and friendly!
