I’m joining the Where Do You Blog? party today! Here are my very glamorous blogging spaces:
Up until a few months ago, I blogged exclusively from my high kitchen counter. I love having my iMac right next to the kitchen so that I can look up recipes online and not have to print them out. I usually just turn the monitor around so I can see it directly from the kitchen. Thankfully I don’t need a lot of actual desk or storage space since I try to run a paperless office – except for coupons, of course!
This space is my preferred location for any task that takes a long time or is design-related. I’m getting more used to a laptop trackpad, but still much prefer a mouse! The drawback is that the bar stool ($8 at Goodwill) is not very comfortable for longer periods of time. :)

Lately I’ve been blogging a lot more from my hand-me-down laptop. I spend a lot of time in a chair nursing Baby and I’m getting pretty good at getting work done while I’m nursing. I can type from my iMac with two hands while nursing (don’t try it at home, it takes some skill! ;)) but haven’t gotten quite as skilled at two-handed typing on a laptop while nursing. I’m a pretty fast one-handed typer, though!
(Someday I need to share how we buy Apple computers, as they’re not usually mentioned in the same sentence as frugality!)
So, there’s where I blog!

I love how you can multitask, lol!…Christine
It’s amazing what you can accomplish while nursing, huh? I’ve amazed myself as well, but two-hand typing is VERY impressive (especially with such a young nurser)!
Would love to hear about getting a deal on Macs. I just bought an iMac from the Apple Store, but didn’t know there was a more frugal option out there.
I just told my husband I wanted to try a Mac and that is exactly what came out his mouth “No they are too expensive and not user friendly” I would love to here how to get one on the cheaper end and then have that be MY computer since he won’t use it MUAHAHAHA
Too expensive could be up for debate. In user-friendliness, Mac wins, hands-down. There is an adjustment for sure, but after you’ve used one for a few months I don’t think you’ll ever do anything but say “I can’t believe how EASY and intuitive this is!” :)
We LOVE Voelker Research (union and academy) for both repairs and refurbished Macs – they do great work and have great deals… we only use Macs in our house and also our college kids with their laptops… but we never pay top dollar.
I love this! Love the glimpse into how you manage to blog all the amazing deals for us. I’m super jealous of the Mac – totally want one!!! I look forward to hearing how to get a bargain on one…
I love this little glimpse into the behind-the-scenes of Springs Bargains!!
When I was exclusively pumping for #3 I was still working part time telecommuting for a law firm I use to work for in-house, so I learned how to balance the bottles on a pillow in my lap so I could sit at my desk!!!!
You go girl, way to multitask! Nursing + blogging ~ bravo !!! I know the feeling of a cold barstool on the tushy, that’s where I spend my afternoons ! Thanks for linking up to the party !
