Use coupon code TOUCHDOWN through September 13 at Restaurant.com to save 80% off gift certificate purchases to local restaurants! This makes the cost of a $25 “gift certificate” just $2, though it really functions more like a really awesome coupon than a gift certificate.
They have added a lot of new local restaurants recently, so there’s actually a selection to choose from now! Here’s a list of the ones currently available – click the link at the bottom to view the complete list.
Remember to read the fine print of each certificate, as all require a minimum purchase and may have a few stipulations such as “cannot be used on holidays”.

Be carefull when buying Restaurant.com coupons – some are tricky. I bought 3 today – good deal, I thought. I paid $10.00 for 2 $50.00 coupons and 1 $25.00 coupon. However, when the coupons printed, I had to spend $100.00 each for the $50.00 coupons and $35.00 for the $25.00 coupon. You can only use one coupon per visit. Read the “terms”. But when you read about the coupons under the restaurant information, it is misleading. I probably won’t be using the $50.00 coupons and call it a “lesson”. I’ll spend an extra $10.00 for the $25.00 coupon, since minimum purchase is $35.00. So – it’s really not 80% in my opinion.
