Still available: get the Gazette for $1 per year

I’ve posted this deal before, but a few people have emailed about it recently so I thought it was worth posting again: you can subscribe to the Sunday/Wednesday Gazette for $1.00 for the entire year! Valid for new customers only, and only one subscription per household.

It’s part of a school fundraising program, and the school of your choice will receive $5 for each subscription.  I don’t post fundraisers unless they are a great deal, and this one definitely is!  If you want to encourage people to support your particular school, you can leave a comment on this post.

The Denver Post has more coupons than the Gazette so I definitely recommend subscibing to the Post as well.  But, at $1.00 for the entire year, I splurged and got the Gazette, too. ;)

  1. I never got around to signing up when you posted before, so I am glad it is still available! My Denver Post subscription is about to run out and I like the sales flyers better in the Gazette :)

  2. If I have had the Gazette in the past but dont have it currently, would I count as a new subscriber? Curious?

I believe you’re a new subscriber if you haven’t had a subscription within 30 days.

    • Thanks so much for posting this and all your hard work for posting all the good deals in Colorado Springs -)

I just signed up for this subscription, I didn’t the first time because my kid’s school is not on the list and I did not have any success getting it added, so I just did it through one of my girlfriend’s kid’s school. Just wanted to let ya know it seems a bit tough to get a school added.

  4. This is an awesome opportunity! If you don’t have a specific school to support please consider supporting Rocky Mountain Classical Academy. It is a great school with great values and teachings and every penny is put to great use! Thanks!

  5. Crystal Graves says:

Scholars to Leaders Academy would love your support too. It’s a wonderful charter school. The PTA will be putting these funds to great use for playground equipment. Every penny counts!

  6. Thanks so much for posting this Carrie! This will save me gas and a trip to 7/11 for the paper.

  7. I plan to do this, but I am also wondering if anybody knows about Sunday Preferred. I keep getting postcards about it and informing me that it includes the deals from the Sunday paper, but I am not sure if that just means store ads or if it means coupons, does anybody know?

    • Carrie Isaac says:

I keep getting those postcards, too! I posted about it once becuase a reader said she was getting it, but then I signed up and never got it. It may have to do with the fact that I did the $1 paid subscription deal a few weeks after signing up for the Sunday Preferred, and the Preferred deal is for non-subscribers only, I think.

  8. What is the link to get this deal for the Denver Post. Can’t seem to get it to come up like the Gazzette link.

    • Carrie Isaac says:

Hi, Debbie! There’s no one for the Post as far as I know – would love to see one, though!
