Does anyone have a good reference for guitar and/or drum lessons?

I have used both as a parent. My son surrently takes drum lessons at Drum Academy USA with Paul Johnson. My son has taken lessons for 3 years and has expanded his musical talent immensely.
My daughter took guitar lessons at Childbloom Guitar with Dale. She was only in the lessons for 3 months and we needed to quit due to overscheduling and finances, but I still have friends that attend there. He was one of the most patient teachers I have ever encountered. He has a great way of explaining musical terms on a kid friendly level.
I highly recommend the above teachers!
My boys personally are taking piano lessons at RockStarzUSA. They also offer guitar lessons and are soon going to be offering drum lessons (which my boys really want to learn but I wanted them to know the piano first). They are located near Doherty High School and are very reasonably priced.
Here is the link to their Facebook page which has their website information http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/RockStarzUSA/120988691328267
My daughter takes guitar and vocal from Shin’s Music studio. Ms. Shin is wonderful and a great teacher. They also offer drums and other lessons. They have a studio in Gleneagle and Southgate. They used to have one on the east side, but they are currently looking for a new location due to growth. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.
I’d highly recommend Stu Pray for drum lessons. He also teaches at The Drum Academy USA, and was recently voted Best Drummer in the Colorado Springs Independent. http://www.csindy.com/IndyBlog/archives/2011/08/18/at-last-winners-of-indy-music-awards-announced

We offer guitar lessons at Fountain Arts Center. They are 1/2 hour private lessons with a professional, patient guitarist who has been teaching for over 20 years. Currently our lesson spots are full, but we would be glad to call you if a spot comes open.

My sons take lessons from John Hall. He also runs Let’s Jam School of Rock (www.letsjamcos.com) during school holiday breaks and summer vacation. 330-1271
My son has been taking guitar lessons in our home with Bill Lane. He is a wonderful teacher and my son has really improved his playing because of Bill. He has a great way of teaching children and my son adores him. He also teaches drums. His number is 290-5266. Please tell him you say you heard about him from Kim on Springs Bargains.
My daughter takes guitar from Mike Zimmerman who runs the Foothills Guitar Studio, located in Rockrimmon. He is a very patient teacher and is the only guitar teacher that I know of in the area who uses the Suzuki approach.
George Thompson or Chris Combs for drum lessons. They both teach at Graner Music on Austin Bluffs and are awesome!
I love Graner Music! My son takes from Steve Gibson, though there are many other teachers to choose from. Not too expensive and I really like the guys that run the “Guitar Section” of the store. Very informative. My son loves talking “shop” with them.
