King Soopers’ coupon policy used to state that you could only use one coupon on a buy one, get one free store sale, but their new policy doesn’t reflect that limitation so I emailed them to find out the official word on whether or not you’re allowed to use a coupon on each item if it’s on sale buy one, get one free. Here’s what I found out:
Our coupon policy states that we limit one manufacturer coupon per item purchased, however we reserve the right to limit no more than five manufacturer coupons for the same product (like UPC) per customer, per day.
In the example you provided in your email the customer is purchasing two items, therefore they may use two manufacturer coupons assuming all purchase requirements listed on the coupon are met.
So, there you have it – you can now officially use two coupons (one for each item) on a buy one, get one free sale at King Soopers! This makes that Odwalla juice that’s on sale buy one, get one free just $0.50 when you use two coupons and buy two!
(Note that buy one, get one free sales are different than buy one, get one free coupons – a buy one, get one free manufacturer’s coupon applies to both items, so you could not use additional coupons with a buy one, get one free manufacturer’s coupon unless you purchase additional items.)
Sure didn’t work for me at the King Soopers on Union. I even talked to the manager but he said that you buy one but the other one is free so you can’t use a coupon on a free product since you didn’t actually purchase it. I would be interested to know if anyone else is having better luck with this.
I’m sorry, Kathy. :( Some store managers do set their own policies – maybe try another King Soopers if there’s another one convenient to you?

I love going to my King Soopers on South Academy….I know the checkers I go to with no fuss.
I specifically asked the manager at my King Soopers in Monument (I was actually buying the Odwalla juice). She said that they can not let you use a coupon on a free item.
I have used a save $6.00 on 2 Schick Razors. The razors had a B1G1 free deal. I got an awesome deal on them! This was awhile back.
