I’m looking for an indoor wedding reception venue that allows you to bring your own food (I’m thinking Costco) and can accommodate 200+ people. The wedding will be in the downtown area, so preferably in that vicinity.
Got a suggestion for an indoor venue in Colorado Springs that would be suitable for a wedding reception of 200+ and allows you to bring in your own food? Please help Monika out by leaving the info in a comment on this post!

The Warehouse may let you bring your own food. Not sure if it can hold 200, but close to it. You may try one of the church halls, or the City Auditorium. Most hotels won’t let you bring food in. Not sure how expensive, but Studio B at the Pikes Peak Center should hold that many and let you cater it. Best of luck finding a place!
I’m pretty sure the warehouse will not let you bring in your food.
Up north – Pinecrest Event Center
West – Manitou City Hall
Eagles Lodge, Sons of Norway, Elk’s Lodge
Fine Art Center (this might have changed recently)
I hope this helps.
Check Pulpit Rock Church on Austin Bluff Pkwy and Nevada. I believe they still rent out their event center (around 5 years old) and that it would hold 200. They have a licensed kitchen but I think you can bring in your own food. This building is separate from the main building with its own entrance and is used for youth activities/ concerts/ wedding receptions, etc. and has its own parking lot.
The Fine Arts Center has a beautiful indoor venue. Also, the Community Center in Black Forest is available for rent.
The VFW downtown will let you bring own food, but I think 200 people would be tight if you wanted space for dancing.
I helped to find an inexpensive venue for a low-budget valentines dance for a high school and used the Tesla Center — part of school district 11. It was a nice, clean, large room, in an attractive building on International Dr. (east of the veladrome at Memorial Park.) We couldn’t believe how inexpensive it was.
Colorado Springs City Auditorium-not new and sparkley, but a fun venue with stage for band -and a little historic!

I appreciate all of the great tips! We ended up booking our reception at the Black Forest Community Club. It’s not too far out of town, and it was $50/hr with a $500 max for the day. They have a kitchen, and you can bring your own food.
Hi Monika- I was actually looking for something similar to what you were looking for. Wanted to find out if you came across any pictures of weddings there, and if you checked into linens for the tables at the community club and if so what the pricing came in at? I am currently looking into getting married and having reception in one location and weighing the options of all inclusive things, vs. doing each piece separately (food, venue, linen rental, photos, ETC.) for as low as I can get but also trying to keep the stress down. Let me know if you have any pointers (as well as ANYONE else!) Trying to get everything other then my dress and flowers for less then $4000 with as little stress as possible (I had originally opted to rent the Cathedral pines lodge, but my wedding has outgrown that and the thought of doing each piece myself kinda started to overwhelm me) but a memorable beautiful night :)
Thank you!
