PPLD Library Cardholders Get Free MP3s

OK, why has no one told me about this before? Or maybe someone has, I vaguely remember checking into something like this awhile back but it seems like it was very confusing… But, whatever the case, did you know that Pikes Peak Library District cardholders can download three free MP3s per week from the Sony music catalog?!

It’s through the Freegal site, and you can just enter your library card number and PIN and you’re there!  Search by artist or song title and you can just click to download the MP3s – easy peasy.

Oh, and on the same note (HAHA!), if you’re an Amazon Mom member, don’t delete that email that says “Top Deals For Mother’s Day” – I did, and then I saw via Common Sense With Money that there was a coupon code for $2 in free MP3s!

Woo hoo! I just got my first MP3 player for my birthday, but I only have 2 songs on it so far. Thanks for the tip!

  2. Does this work for Ipods?

Yes, you just need to download the MP3s and the add them to your iTunes library.
