I use Oops Handyman and have been very happy with them. Someone highly recommended (Will) to me and I am very glad to have found them. I am usually skeptical and do a lot of research before visiting/using any business so I am thrilled to have a great handyman.

  2. I can highly recommend Chuck with CFAR. So quality!

  3. I recommend SJS builders. 719-205-9982. http://www.sjsbuilders.com Scott can do anything, from a complete remodel to a simple honey do list. His prices are affordable and he is completely trustworthy. We have hired him multiple times and recommend him highly!

I second Scott at SJS Builders. He actually came and re-installed 2 doors that were not installed properly by the first person we hired. He did a great job.

I have used Kirt for many items big and small. He is reliable, honest and his rates are reasonable. http://www.aroundthehouseinc.com/ I would not hesitate to recommend him for anything you have to be done. He has cleaned off the “Honey-Do” list in a couple of hours including the mundane – changing light bulbs to adjusting doors to close properly and small hole repair.

Tom Jackson he is honest and does a can fix anything the right way. 719-232-4333.

  6. I joined Angie’s List to find one, but ended up not needing him. This guy has the best /most ratings on Angieslist, as recent as April 2011. He was the only guy willing to come out and give me a FREE estimate. Everybody else wanted to charge minimum $90+ just to look at a leaky kitchen faucet feed valve. sigh…

He’s a busy guy, and I couldn’t get out for a couple of weeks, but if I need another handyman for a bigger job, I’ll use him.

FYI, I got one year of Angieslist for $8 (used discount from retailmenot.com)

    Here’s his info:

    Good luck!

    • We have actually used this guy after we got the recommendation from Angie’s List. We had a plumbing issue. He came out in the evening, without an additional “after hours” charge. He tried, unsuccessfully to fix our problem, but was very thorough and made sure not to make a mess. We really appreciated that he said it was a job bigger than he could do and that he spent about an hour trying to get it fixed for us. I would recommend him and we would call him again if we had the need.
