Here’s a great tip on car washes and gas from Becky:
I found a GREAT deal at The Loaf & Jug at Vickers and North Academy. They have their car wash for 1 cent until the end of the month which I bought but to my suprise when you buy the car wash you also get 10 cents off per gallon on your gas also!
The 1 cent car wash did a great job on my car and I also liked how you could just drive in without those bulky metal guides that my low car scrapes on. You could buy the more expensive car washes also at a $6.00 savings each. I got the deal even though I only bought a few gallons of gas that day. The car wash codes last for a month so if you did it right you could have car washes through July.

I think the above Loaf & Jug is the only 1 cent car wash location because they have a new Kum & Go c-store across the street now to compete with. I went back last night for more 10 cent off per gallon gas and another 1 cent car wash and they also give you an extra 3 cent per gallon discount when you scan your King Soopers card. So I paid $3.46 per gallon for regular gas which was 13 cents lower than the posted $3.59 per gallon. Becky
Ah, that makes sense that it would be because of the new competition. Maybe they’ll have more price wars for awhile, haha.
