Just a reminder that REI of Colorado Springs will be having their next “garage sale” this Saturday, June 30th! The sale is open to REI members only and features merchandise that has been used or returned. I’ve heard about nothing but amazing deals at this sale! It officially opens at 7 AM but from what I hear, the line starts forming much sooner. A reader said they did put out new stuff throughout the day, too, so it may still be worth checking out even if you can’t be one of the first ones there.

Be careful on what you buy. We bought a tarp picnic cover for camping and the reason for return was that the people did not like it. We took it camping only to find out that it had broken poles which are expensive to replace. REI obviously does not check the items after they are returned!
