I’m in shock.
There’s a great deal on peanut butter this week – and it’s even Jif! Albertsons has jars of Jif for $1.49, no coupon required! I’d say that’s a stock-up price if there ever was one. Or at least if there ever was one in the past year or two. If Albertsons runs out, you can pricematch it at Walmart.
Albertsons also has good deals on Pepsi, bottled water, Downy, and petite sirloin steaks, plus free (cheap) Uncle Ben’s rice and more!
These deals are valid August 1-7, 2012.

my uncle ben’s coupon was $1 off any 3 items. so not free for me.
Is the Jiff part of a buy 8 or buy 5 deal? The price is really just $1.49, no strings?
It is part of the Buy 8 deal – all the items under the Buy 8, Save $4 are. You can mix and match the items.
I was reminded again why I hate shopping at Albie’s… the Redplum coupons I printed for the Suave body wash and shampoo/condition didn’t scan and the checker, who was a manager, wouldn’t input it manually. Since it was a part of the buy 8 deal, I had to hold up the line and go get other items. I’ll just save my coupons for King Soopers. SO frustrating.
My Albertsons is no better. I never bother with them anymore and always price match at WalMart or Target.
When I shop at Albies, I always try to shop at an “off” time so it isn’t crowded… and also get one of the checkers I know will manually push the coupon through if it beeps. When I went yesterday, almost every coupon beeped (who knows why? they were all legitimate and I had bought the proper items and correct number!) but the cashier pushed them all through thankfully and there was only 1 person in line behind me (8:00 p.m.)
It seems like they are consistently out of product here. I’m going to try a different one, just one more time, but honestly, I’m tired of going and coming out with half of what I came in for. NOT worth my time!
Yeah, I’m kind of the same way. When I only have time to stop at two stores a week (which is most of the time), Albertsons is almost never on the list.
I have not had the best of experiences there either, though not as bad as some I’ve heard of. I don’t go there as often because of what Heather mentioned – I go in for 5 things and they are completely out of 3 or more of them. It’s far for me to get to Albertson’s from here, so it get both disappointing and expensive.
I was just at Albertsons tonight, and their monthly savings book has a manufacturer coupon for $2/2 Angel Soft toilet paper 24 count. It is on sale through 8/28 for $6.99, so after the coupon it is $0.25/roll!
did anyone see the chocolate hazelnut jiff on sale? Or know how much it is? There is that 1.00 off Q on coupons.com for it.
The Albertsons on Union and Research doesn’t carry it. I even asked a manager if they had it, and he said they don’t but he could order it for me. That was way too much trouble for me, so I just skipped it.
ok thanks sarah! I just saw a Q report that you can get it free at some walmarts. Going to look int it.
Cool! Let us know what you find!
If you buy 20 of the Yoplait for $10 you also get a $2 catalina.
Where is the visine instore coupon found? Thanks!
