The Colorado Springs REI must be having a lot of returns lately, because they’re having another garage sale this Saturday, August 25th! The sale opens at 7 AM, but the line starts forming early. You have to be an REI member to buy at this sale of used-and-returned merchandise, and you can buy one there, or online, for $20. It’s a lifetime membership!
All sales are “as-is”, so be sure to check your items over carefully before you buy. Jeremy went to one earlier this year and got a carrier for the top of our van at about 50% off. It had a bent key but he talked to the guy there and found out that he could replace it for $5.00 (which did indeed turn out to be true). So that was a “defect” we could live with for a great deal!
