Here’s a list of the events going on in September 2012 through the homeschool program at the library:
Homeschool Tools at the East Library
Monday, September 10th from 9:00 AM-12:30 PM
Learn about library resources available to homeschool families. They’ll also be going over the new online catalog system (which I am loving)!
Homeschool Lunch Bunch at the Fountain Library
Wednesday, September 5th from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM
From the library: “Join us the first Wednesday of the month as we learn about countries, cultures, people and possibilities. Each month we’ll explore someplace new through crafts, games, food and activities. Earn a stamp in your passport for each program you attend. Bring a sack lunch to enjoy after the program as you spend time getting to know other Homeschool families. Programs are geared toward elementary-age children but siblings older and younger are welcome!”
Homeschool Science Lab at the East Library
Friday, September 7th and 21st from 1:00-3:00 PM
Parents and their homeschooled students can do experiments on the library’s science equipment.
Homeschool Game Day at the East Library
Friday, September 21st from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM
Meet at George Fellows Park (behind East Library) for outdoor games and a (bring your own) picnic lunch.
