I just heard via Homeschool and Christian Resources that September 1st is the last day to register your homeschool for Pizza Hut’s Book It program for the 2012-2013 school year – or at least, register with guaranteed acceptance. It says they’ll still accept applications after September 1st, but it’s on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Book It program is open to grades K-6th and homeschoolers can apply here. (Public, private, and parochial schools can apply here.) You’ll need to submit your name, mailing address, phone number, email, the number of children who will be participating, and the ages of the children participating.
The program runs from October to March and teachers can set their own goal for each student’s reading. Upon completion of the goal, teachers can award certificates good for one personal pan pizza to students.
