We eat fried bologna sandwiches. They are tasty. My husband puts mustard on his and I just use mayo. :-) Fry a piece of bologna and add a slice of cheese to let it melt a bit.. hhhmmm.. lol
My husband loves those things. I had never heard of them until he made them one day. Must be an east coast thing.
YUM!! I was raised in the south so I’ve eaten my fair share of fried bologna sandwiches..:) I still eat them from time to time with the really soft white bread that sticks to the roof of your mouth I like them plain my husband puts mustard and cheese on his. Carrie you should give it a try.
My mother makes something called bologna salad. You actually grind up the bologna, then it’s sort of like making tuna salad – mayo, relish….I dunno. It’s something people really like, or really don’t. I was never a huge fan, but other people seem to just love it.
I did get some of the hot dogs on sale, and I want to try those ‘corndog muffins’ that people talk about on blogs sometimes. From what I understand you pretty much just make corn muffins with slices of hot dog pushed down into them before you bake….corn dog flavors, I guess? I think my daughter would like them, and it would be a good afternoon snack once in a while.
