Just in case you missed it earlier this week: the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo will be having their annual Military Appreciation Week starting next Monday, September 10th through Sunday, September 16th. If you haven’t been to the zoo recently, there is a lot that’s new! There’s a new baby giraffe, a new baby gorilla, a new hippo, a new reptile exhibit – and probably more that I’m not remembering right now. The new Encounter Africa exhibit isn’t open yet but we’ve been watching the progress this summer and I’m so excited to see it!
