Download Classical Conversations MP3s for Free through Sunday

This morning I saw via Hundred Acre Wood that due to some technical difficulties, Classical Conversations has opened up their members-only portion of their website for free until this Sunday, September 16th!  I am thrilled about this because, though we are not part of a Classical Conversations group and really not even following a classical model of education, I have ordered the Cycle 1 Foundations CD because I love their memory songs.  The kids listen to it while they’re playing Legos and I (and the kids) listen while we’re driving and we have absorbed a lot of history and math from listening.

Anyway, so you can download a bunch of MP3s from their website while it’s open to the public.  You’ll need to login using the username guest1 and password guest1, and I’m just going to send you over to Hundred Acre Wood for all the details because to be honest, the site is really hard to find things on.  This post tells you about the free access, and this post tells you where to find stuff.  I recommend going to the File Sharing area and downloading the MP3s – filter them by user Classical Conversations to get the “official” ones (though some of the unofficial ones were good, too).

  1. If you want to download MP3s, try logging in and then going here: http://www.classicalconversations.com/index.php?option=com_ccfilesharing&plan=foundations&Itemid=23 That’s the members-only MP3 library.
