I don’t see anything really smoking hot this week at Safeway, but their deals include good prices on brownie/cake mix, Alexia frozen potatoes, and even free Dannon Oikos cups if you haven’t used your coupon yet. You can also get a free Jell-O mold!
You can add the $5 Friday deals to your Safeway card (starting on Friday) and take advantage of them through Sunday, effectively making it a three-day sale instead of just Friday-only. You’ll find the deals in the Just for U Coupon Center starting on Friday.
If you have questions about how Just for U works and which coupons and deals can be combined, check out this post.
These deals are valid September 19-25, 2012.

I got a personalized deal for Nestle toll house morsels for $2.18. There was a coupon $0.50/1 in the Denver Post a couple weeks ago PLUS there is a catalina deal, buy 2 or more get $2 in future savings. Making them only $0.18 a bag if you buy 2. Great deal, I think! :)
Ops, I got that one wrong. The Catalina is buy 2 get $1 off, buy 3 get $1.50 off, buy 4 get $2 off. I bought 3 packages, with the personalized deal, 3 $0.50/1 and after catalina it was $0.68 each. Still pretty good.
went to the Constitution Safeway and they did not get the Jello molds in :(
Can’t locate those @ Circle & Galley — has anyone found them?
Safeway in Fountain (on Mesa Ridge) has them, but I only saw “Phineas and Ferb”
Aww man, just came from Safeway and realized after I got home that I forgot to use my $4 in coupons! I was sidetracked and totally spaced it. I’m wondering if I go back tomorrow with my receipt and coupons, if they’ll give me credit for them….
I have done that before and they were great about it!
Thanks Liz! I just went back and they took the coupons no problem. I love it when things like that are so easy!
