It’s time for What To Make With What’s On Sale!  Bottled salad dressing is cheap this week — at King Soopers, Kraft salad dressing (12-16 oz) is $1.49 in the Buy 10, Save $5 Mega Event, and it’s potentially free after coupon and the Kraft catalina!  Safeway also has Hidden Valley Ranch dressing (16 oz) for as low as $2.50 with e-coupon when you buy two.

Here are a few yummy salad ideas you might not have tried before, as well as some creative ways to cook with salad dressing.

It’s a bit of a stretch to call Paula Deen’s Southern Cornbread Salad a “salad,” but it does call for salad dressing!  I like to take this dish to potlucks as it’s always a hit.

This recipe, Easy Italian Chicken, is as simple as they come.  Chicken breasts are marinated in bottled Italian dressing, then baked.
