King Soopers has good deals on Totino’s Pizza Rolls, Barilla Pasta, Angel Soft Bath Tissue, and toothpaste this week! Though there are definitely some stand-out deals, I don’t see any deals that might warrant several trip to the store like the deals that go through this Tuesday (10/23). I’m trying to use up some stuff I have in the freezer so I’m fine with that – how about you? :)
One thing I noticed this week – and perhaps it’s been there for awhile and I’ve never noticed it – is that the ad says that the prices are valid starting at 7 AM on Wednesday. I had a crazy idea this past week that I should start going grocery shopping way early on Wednesday morning but if the sale prices don’t for sure start until 7 AM, that wouldn’t be such a good idea. (OK, it wasn’t ever really a good idea at all, since I’ve have to get up at 4 AM to get grocery shopping and blogging done by the time Jeremy usually leaves for work!)
These deals are valid October 23-30, 2012.

I’ve started going on Wednesday mornings right after I drop my kids off at school at 7:50. Unfortunately, they don’t usually have all of the sale prices updated on things. It’s frustrating when you get to the checkout and end up paying more on items that you thought were on sale, so if you go on Wednesday mornings, be sure to take your flyer with you to verify prices.
If the (incorrect) sale sign is still up, they have to give you the sale price.
I’ve had that experience before, too – it is really confusing and frustrating!
There is a coupon in the target website for $1/3 heinz gravy and it is printing as a manufacturer coupon which will make them $.67 each : )
The safeway sour cream was free for me with the cal dairy Q. Also the annie chuns seaweed. This is good to eat a slice of every day because it chelates out radioactivity from your body. Fukushima is getting worse so this is a good idea to do.
Also I got the pomegranates last week and just noticed I was over charged. They were supposed to be 1.50 apiece but I was charged 2.00. If you get some score them all the way around the middle and break apart. Then Hit the middle of the skin side with a wooden spoon and they will all come out really nice. If you pull it apart, you dont cut into the seeds so there is almost no red juice leaking everywhere. They are super anti-oxidants so very good for you. They also have a compound in them that helps the body get rid of fat and possibly parasites.
The one I had was really delicious. Also, ocra is good for helping rebuild the joints. Just in case anyone has sore knees or back. It is high in silica which actually helps repair the tendons, meniscus, etc. I bought some of those at KS as well for 1.59 battered in the frozen section. I was thinking they would be good put into a taco or burrito and youd hardly know they were there.
