Sprouts has great prices on Gala, Granny Smith, Jonathan, Gold or Red Delicious apples for $0.49/lb, red bell peppers for $0.33 each, avocados for $0.88 each, and more starting Wednesday. I’m hoping to figure out a good combination of apples to use for applesauce and then cook and freeze a bunch this year.

I posted this earlier, but don’t think it went through. Sprouts has an ad in the Denver Post for 20% off anything you can fit in the bag. Probably it is a specially marked bag. When Office Depot offers that, it acts like a coupon and you can buy more than fits in the bag. Don’t know about Sprouts.

Maybe you can fill up more than one bag – or check out and go back again! Haven’t been there yet this week. Also don’t usually by the frozen food, but perhaps I will try some. Any suggestions?
