Another week with no Register Rewards to speak of – I’m not sure that I am liking this new Balance Rewards program! But, there are a few good deals in spite of that. :-)
If you are not brand-loyal to a laundry detergent, $1.75 for Xtra is a great price! I have never tried this brand. If you have, what do you think of it compared to Tide or Purex or any others?
There is also a pretty good price for Nivea body wash. And, if you’re going to be in the store, you can pick up some free Advil, though I don’t know that I would make a special trip just for the Advil, as it is only the 4-ct! :-)

There was a coupon last week to get 5.00 off of a purchase of 30.00. Im sorry I missed it. It seems like if deals like that show up certain things will be a good deal- but otherwise nothing exciting right now.
I have signed up for the new rewards program, but never collect points. My balance stays at zero. Does anyone know if there a reason this is happening?
Hi Stacy, I had the same problem and had to iron it out over the phone. The associate who signed me up put in my phone numer or email address in wrong so make sure those are right. Also the website doesnt update that quickly. When you get your receipt it should say how many points you have on the bottom and you can use them immediately. Also make sure you get the associate to enter your card or phone number at the time then look at the atm pad in the store. There will be a button on it that says do you want to use your points at this time. Then you confirm or not. This way you can see your points and you dont have to use them. Its kind of confusing. Also dont use your points to buy something that has points or you wont get credit for the “new” points.
One thing that hung me up — I wasn’t buying anything that offer points! Using the card guarantees you get the advertized price, but not everything advertized gives Balance Reward points. Simple, but sometimes I can get parts out of a folk LOL
