I’m happy to see that Safeway has the two-pound blocks of cheese on sale for $5 on Friday again this week – they were out of mozzarella by the time I got there on Sunday last week. (You can get the Friday deals all weekend if you load them to your card.) I got a raincheck, but you know how it goes… I rarely remember to redeem them! :)

Yes, but you have to wait until Friday to add them to your card. They are in the Coupon Offers section. :) You can load them Friday-Sunday.
There is a FANTASTIC deal at Safeway if you want to buy any Itunes gift cards! Check your Just4U account to see if you have the $15 off $50 or more Itunes gift card offer. If you do, you can buy two $30 multipacks for only $36 after the 15% off multipacks discount and the special offer!
Here’s how it will look —
2 $30 multipacks = $60
$60- $9 (15% multipack discount) = $51
$51 – $15 (special offer) = $36
Also, you can do this an unlimited amount of times as long as you do separate transactions. It’s Limit 1 per transaction, but unlimited until 12/29!

What discount didn’t come off your total amount? Did you load the $15 off $50 Just for U special offer to your card? I’m not sure why this wouldn’t work because the 15% off is a store discount, and the $15 off $50+ is a Just for U coupon that you have to add to your card. They usually allow you both discounts, right? For example, when the store has a B1G1 sale and you have a special J4U price on a product, you usually pay your special price and also get one free.
Yes I loaded the Just for U coupon on my card. The $9 came off right away but the $15 did not. When I asked a manager about it she said she would adjust it for the $15 but I couldn’t get both. Her explanation was that the Just for U coupon isn’t good on the muti-packs

Thank you, Stephanie! I had a J4U deal of $7.00 off $70.00, and all three discounts came off, even though it was the gift cards that put my order over $70.00. I’m shopping at Safeway more often because of these stackable deals.

Hey I just talked to the guy from the produce dept at the wahsatch store and he said he has like 4 boxes of produce he has marked down 50%. Just in case you are looking for a deal on it today. He said to ask him and he will get it out of the back because there isn’t room to even put it all out.
Previously i have gotten a fruit tray for .50 and a large fruit tray that is usually 15.99 for 3.00. I have the coupons from the tony tantillo site and keep them because they are good for more than a month but not available to print after that. It is a pdf so you can print as many as you like. I got a clam shell of mixed greens for .50 that way. They were on sale and I used the 2.00 Q from there.
The hazelnuts are only 2.00 a bag and 1.60 if you have the 20% discount from j4u. If the items are 50% off and you get another 20% that is great! The hazelnuts are in the shell but they are so much fresher that way.
Safeway just added a $15 off $100 in Mastercard gift cards coupon to the Special Offers section of the Coupon Center online. I know they charge a fee for buying Mastercard gift cards, but the fee should still be less than $15. It appears that you can buy in all increments adding up to $100 to get the coupon. I think I am going to try it and will let you know how it works out.
If you buy the $100 Mastercard gift card, you only pay one activiation fee of $5.95. I paid $90.95 for a $100 gift card. The cashier was kind enough to let me check out with just the gift card to make sure the Just4U coupon would come off, and I would suggest doing that if you purchase this gift card because the sign in the store said must be redeemed by 12/22 even though it worked today on 12/23. I don’t even think I had the coupon yesterday, so I thought that date might not be correct. Also, just in case you were wondering, the 40 cents off gas coupon when you spend $50 (Just4U special offer coupon) will not work when you buy this gift card. It does stack with the other gift card deals, but not this one.
