Walgreens Weekly: Halls Drops and Colgate for $0.49, Free Tums, and More

Well, I am just about done with my shopping for the holidays but I am super happy to see Halls cough drops for just 49¢ a bag (this includes 10 bonus drops)! I am thankful that we haven’t suffered from any colds yet this season, but I love to have these on hand for sure, and the sales haven’t been that great. My son loves the citrus flavored Halls Defense, so I hope those are included.

I’m also happy to see Hefty baggies for just 99¢. Here are a few other things that might interest you this week:

Be sure to read “Walgreens Coupon Policy and FAQ” if you are a new Walgreens shopper, or even if you aren’t sure that you’re making the most of your shopping experiences!

These deals are valid December 16 – 22, 2012.

I have seen some markdowns on the dunking doughnuts coffee to 5.99 for the pumpkin or chocolate mint flavor. There is a .50 Q in the monthly book as well.

Also there is a 25.00 restaurant gift card deal if you buy the ky yours and mine. There is a 5.00 Q in the monthly and there was a 5.00 off Q a while back on the site that expires in feb 2013.

Dunkin Donuts 1.50 Q if you sign up on their website will be emailed to you. Stack with .50 wags book can make it as low as 3.99.
Or use the $1/1 Dunkin Donuts coffee coupon found in the 10/28 RP (value varies by region)
Or use the $0.75/1 Dunkin Donuts coffee coupon found in the 12/2 RP (value varies by region)
Plus, use the $0.50/1 Walgreens coupon found in the December Coupon Booklet
Final cost as low as $3.99!

The Halls coupon for cough drops must have been in the Denver inserts. I can’t find it in the Gazette ones…bummer!

Today is family and friends discount so if you wanted to get supplements or other things you will get a better discount. There are 2.00 Qs in the wags supplement booklet and a 2.00 off Q on the coupons site for b vitamins so if u use them together you can get 16.00 off a purchase of 30.00 if you buy 2 10.00 vit bs and get 2 5.00 ones. Then you would get an extra 4.50 off today and 5,000 points which would make it 25.50 off!

If you got the buy 4 hershies for 10.00 that would be an extra 1.50 off, plus the 2.00 off of 2 Qs and the points which would make them 4.50 for 4 holiday bags and 2000 pts. So 2.50 net.

The toilet paper and towels would also be another 3.75 off of 25.00 plus 3000 points which would be like getting 2 charmins free. Save your points and next week there will be a deal where you get 2500 points extra when you redeem 10,000 points. The clear hair shampoo will also be on sale again and be free after the 4000 points you get so you could get that first and then redeem the 10,000 pts for something else like the half off axe gift sets plus the 3.00 coupon to make them 2.00. I got the Q for the shampoo on redplum.

Liz, I think I have Christmas Brain. I know you stated all that clearly, but I don’t think any of it stuck in my head!

However, I did find some printables for the Halls in the coupon database. I took the 15% off coupon too that was today only. The page prints you 4, even though they are only good for the one day, so I gave the other 3 to other shoppers. After the sale on the cough drops, the coupons and the 15% off I got six bags (all bonus bags too, with 40 lozenges each) for about 2.39. Very good!

Fyi I just saw the ad for Jan 1 and you get 10,000 pts if you buy 40.00 worth of nature made so that would be a better deal to wait for. I was able to get the 5,000 pts but had to call to get them because they didnt go on automatically because I got the stress B which were not included or something. The ad doesnt say excluding anything so it is confusing.
